I was with a group of people talking about our aspirations and dreams. When I shared mine one person in that group was condescending tapping me on the shoulder as if to say "good luck with that". It was at this moment where I could fall into victimhood to their projections of what they think my life should look like or I can follow my passions my dreams. I can live the life I want or be living a life for everyone else.

14 years together 9 years married means we have been through many chapters in our lives together. Many of which were chapters of personal journeys and growth. Sometimes we had to grow apart in order to growth with each other. With every chapter we would continue to keep choosing each other even if it meant watching the other one struggle a bit. As time goes on, we are now in a position of such growth that I had to share how proud I am of where we are at. It's taken time, love, patience, and all-around gratitude. We have a few couples around us that are navigating the same paths we have taken and hope one day they to come to this understanding and appreciation for each other.

Since moving I have been dying to come out of survival mode and wanting to fall into my feminine energy. The Universe has been placing in my places and showing it's time to fully surrender and let all that shit go but what prompted this realization is when I stood in the mirror and really saw myself and how I was dressing.
