In this episode I will talk about Wilhelm Keitel, one of the defendants at the Nuremberg war crimes tribunal and head of the Wehrmacht High Command. The main focus of the episode lies on Keitel's opinions, opinions about Keitel and the trial. His life - which is well-documented elsewhere - will only be discussed briefly.

Positive: I am finally in possession of the memoirs of Wilhelm Keitel and I will probably use them for another episode.

In this aerospace episode I will talk about another not-so-well-known aircraft of the German Luftwaffe, the Heinkel He 51. Originally designed as a fighter, she mostly served as a close-support aircraft, mainly during the Spanish Civil War. During World War 2, she was mainly used as an advanced trainer for fighter pilots. In this episode, I will discuss the career of the Heinkel He 51 with comments from pilots of the Spanish Civil War, like for example Adolf Galland.

Adolf Galland besprechen.

In the second episode regarding the broadcasting history in Germany I will talk about the radio history in the Third Reich before the war with a focus on Germany itself. How was it different than radio broadcasting in the Weimar Republic? How did the medium "radio" continue to develop under the rule of the nazis? And how did the people handle these changes?

This episode will not discuss other countries or German-speaking broadcasts from other countries. This will come in the next episode. There's just too much material to discuss it all in one go.

There is a lot of BS circling the internet when it comes to the question "what is communism" or "what is socialism". As this is really getting on my nerves, I have decided to analyze the basic works of communism and work out for myself, what is in these works and what communism actually is or claims to be.

The first book is "The communist manifesto" by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels from 1848.
