Christoph Burgmer im Gespräch mit dem Ägypter Moustafa Maher.. Moustafa Maher war über Jahrzehnte der bedeutenste Übersetzer deutscher Literatur ins Arabische. Die deutsche Literatur hat in arabischen Ländern eine geringe Präsenz. Das, so meint Maher im Interview, liegt vor allem an den komplizierten Strukturen deutscher Literaturvermittlung. Während die englische und französische Literatur die ersten Ränge einnimmt, wird die Übersetzung und Verbreitung deutscher Literatur durch bürokratische und finanzielle Einschränkungen behindert.

German literature has a low profile in Arab countries. According to Maher in the interview, this is mainly due to the complicated structures of German literature mediation. While English and French literature occupy the top ranks, the translation and dissemination of German literature is hampered by bureaucratic and financial restrictions. The interview with Maher, who died in 2021, was conducted in Cairo, Egypt.

Jean Baudrillards ( 1929-2007  Vortrag ist ein seltenes Fundstück. Die Rede wurde 1995 in Karlsruhe (ZKM - Zentrum für Kunst und Medien) auf Deutsch gehalten gehalten. Der 2007 verstorbene französische Poststrukturalist führt darin seine Simulationstheorie aus. Jean Baudrillards Thesen vom ”Ende der Geschichte in der Simulation” haben heute, angesichts der aktuellen Entwicklungen von ”Künstlischer Intelligenz - KI” mehr Aktualität denn je.

Le post-structuraliste français, décédé en 2007, explique sa théorie de la simulation. Les thèses de Jean Baudrillard sur la « fin de l’histoire dans la simulation » sont plus que jamais d’actualité aujourd’hui, compte tenu des développements actuels de « l’intelligence artificielle – IA ».

Besonders viele Psychopathen finden sich unter Unternehmern, Anwälten, Finanzmarktakteuren, Soldaten und Politikern. Dies deutet auf zunehmend autoritäre bürokratische Strukturen hin. Denn erst hier finden Psychopathen Karrieremöglichkeiten. Es stellt sich die Frage, warum die politische Klasse in Deutschland demokratiefördernde, emanzipatorische Strategien vernachlässigt. Während man 100 Milliarden für die Armee bereitstellt, werden dringend notwendige Investitionen in emanzipatorische, wertschätzende Bildung verhindert. Mit fatalen Folgen für die Demokratie.

Er wurde 1923 in Berlin geboren, floh mit seinen Eltern vor den Nationalsozialisten und lebte und arbeitete über 40 Jahre in den USA. Ende der 70er Jahre siedelte er über nach Zürich, wo er 2015 verstarb.

Christoph Burgmer im Gespräch mit Birgit Rommelspacher (1945-2015). Birgit Rommelspacher war Psychologin und Pädagogin. Sie prägte den Begriff der "Dominanzkultur". Damit beschrieb die Frauenforscherin Diskriminierungen von Minderheiten. Rommelspacher erläutert dies am Beispiel des islamischen Kopftuchs (s. Kopftuchstreit). Teile der Frauenbewegung propagieren bis heute  Frauenemanzipation nur im Rahmen westlicher Kultur. Rommelspacher stellt fest, dass Dominanzkultur rechtsradikale und rassistische Frauenbilder begründet. / Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Birgit Rommelspacher (1945-2015). Birgit Rommelspacher was a psychologist and educator. She coined the term ‘dominance culture’. The women's researcher used this term to describe discrimination against minorities. Rommelspacher explains this using the example of the Islamic headscarf. To this day, parts of the women's movement propagate women's emancipation only within the framework of Western culture. Rommelspacher states that the culture of dominance is the basis for right-wing extremist and racist images of women.

 Christoph Burgmer im Gespräch mit Hanna Krall. Hanna Krall ist eine polnische Journalistin und Schriftstellerin. Sie wurde 1935 geboren und überlebte als Kind in einem Versteck das Warschauer Ghetto. Ihre auf Tatsachen beruhenden Geschichten handeln unter anderem von Kindern, deren jüdische Eltern von den Nationalsozialisten ermordet wurden und die zum Schutz vor den Häschern von polnischen Familien adoptiert wurden. Erst kurz vor dem Tod der Adoptiveltern gestehen diese ihnen ihre tatsächliche Herkunft. Hanna Kralls Bücher sind in 17 Sprachen übersetzt. Das Interview wurde 1995 in ihrer Datsche in der Nähe von Warschau aufgenommen.

Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Hanna Krall. Hanna Krall is a Polish journalist and writer. She was born in 1935 and survived the Warsaw ghetto as a child in hiding. Her fact-based stories are about children whose Jewish parents were murdered by the Nazis and who were adopted by Polish families to protect them from their persecutors. The adoptive parents only confess their true origins shortly before their death. Hanna Krall's books have been translated into 17 languages. The interview was recorded in 1995 in her dacha near Warsaw.
