procedure of the automated production of organoids and describes
their advantages. He explains new testing methods, which are for

questions concerning mini brains are addressed.

Prof. Dr. Horst Spielmann about the term 'validation' and the
centers for development of replacement and supplemental methods for
animal experiments. Using the example of in vitro phototoxicity
testing a method is discussed, which without animals predicts the
human situation better than the animal test. Also the benefits of
the so called OECD Guidelines for chemical testing are mentioned.
