Friends of Jesse Baird have reported receiving text messages from
him in the days after he died. Now, a friend of Beau
Lamarre-Condon has alleged in court that she was asked to dispose
of a phone, which he claimed contained stolen police files.

The court has also heard from another of Beau Lamarre-Condon’s
friends, who claims she agreed to go on a drive with the former
police officer. She said she did not know that they would be gone
for hours; or that the bodies of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies were
supposedly in the back of the van, as prosecutors have alleged.

Beau Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to two charges of
murder and one of aggravated break and enter. His defence
maintains that Jesse Baird and Luke Davies both died in separate
struggles involving his police issued gun.
