Did you know that some of our most puzzling and long-lasting
mental and even physical health issues can be traced to
trauma—possibly as far-reaching as from our childhood? Some of it
might have even been inflicted by seemingly harmless incidents in
our childhood such as disparaging comments made by a tita, tito,
parent, other relative or caregiver!

Tackling this phenomenon is Gang Capati, a trauma and
neuroscience research fellow of Boston's Trauma Research
Foundation doing clinical research on the brain and behavior.
This Clinical Trauma Therapy Professional and trained mental
health creative arts therapist is the founder of Project Steady,
a mental health initiative focused on wellness programs and
creative arts therapy for adults and teenagers, as well as the
pro-alternative education non-profit organization RockEd
Philippines.
