LGBTQIA+ rights, she is also an in-demand speaker who gives talks
on beauty, self-empowerment, and the evolution of beauty
standards, particularly in the context of Filipino culture. She
recently gave a TEDx Talk on “Democratizing The Beauty
Industry Through Social Media” and a few months ago, was
selected, along with her partner Deng Garcia, Pia Wurtzbach, and
Iza Calzado, to be a brand ambassador for L’Oreal’s #ImWorthIt
campaign aimed at transforming preconceived standards of Filipino
femininity through empowerment and resilience.
