This episode launches my overview of the individual public
broadcasting stations in Germany, as far as my sources allow. In
the radio episodes on West German broadcasting after 1945 –
episodes 54, 58, and 62 – I provided a general overview, focusing
primarily on the political and organizational background. In the
upcoming episodes, I would like to delve deeper into this topic,
but also mention music selection, current events, and individuals
who were active in the stations' history.
