What does a bank robber have to do with art?


In this episode I sit down with Daniel Daboczy,
the curator behind Helix Artspace, one of Stockholm’s most
fascinating art spaces.


We discuss an "artwork" born from a 1992 action by the infamous
Swedish "Militärligan" (The Military Gang).
During a bank robbery, a member of the gang used a machine gun to
shoot a smiley face into a piece of bulletproof
glass. Furthermore, we talk about trust, creative instincts, and
why the best minds of our generation are stuck fighting an
algorithm. Also: why the Mona Lisa is, according to Daniel, just
"an okay art piece."
