Carsten und Christian begrüßen Prof. Dr. Matthias Kochanek,
Leiter der internistischen Intensivstation der Uniklinik Köln und
Präsident der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internistische Intensiv-
und Notfallmedizin (DGIIN), zu einer neuen Folge des
EKG-Podcasts. Wie verändert der medizinische Fortschritt bei
Krebstherapien die Indikationsstellung zur intensivmedizinischen
Aufnahme – und was bedeutet das für Teams, die täglich mit diesen
Entscheidungen konfrontiert sind? Wie gelingt es, zwischen
kurativem Anspruch, palliativer Realität und einem
ICU-Trial-Ansatz klare Therapieziele zu definieren – gemeinsam
mit Patient:innen, Angehörigen und dem gesamten Pflegeteam?
Onkologische Intensivmedizin ist kein Sonderfall mehr, sondern
eine tägliche Teamaufgabe – mit wissenschaftlicher Grundlage,
menschlicher Haltung und dem Mut zur offenen Kommunikation.
