Hike of the Week 


 


It's the new Flattop Mountain Hike!  If you're seeking a
family friendly hike with amazing views beyond the popular
Flattop Mountain in Anchorage, this gem of a hike is 30 minutes
drive from downtown Anchorage.


- Located 30 minutes from downtown Anchorage - Starting
elevation: 2,626 ft. - Top elevation: 3,850 ft. Lots of history
available, easy trails, amazing views. Please respect the fences
placed by the U.S. Army, area might also be closed due to
military exercises.. but it's rare.  And if you're feeling
bold? Rendezvous peak is also accessible to the northeast of the
radar summit.  The path stated on this google earth is the
path we took.
