New SPND20 Mixtape loading: @red-eye-dallas takes the booth Hailing
from Dallas and shaped by decades of underground evolution, Red Eye
brings a sound forged in EBM, industrial dance, new beat, early
acid house and Detroit techno. Known for his unmistakable vocal
work with KiNK, FJAAK, Stefan Braatz and more, plus releases and
remixes across labels like Dirtybird, Yoshitoshi, Music For Freaks
and Defected, he’s been carving his own lane long before nostalgia
became a trend. With his 2024 imprint CRASH PLANET, he continues to
blur lines between electro, breaks, acid, EBM, techno and house -
always raw, always future-minded. For his SPANDAU20 Mixtape, Red
Eye delivers the world he knows best: a moody one and a half hour
sideroom trip, built on shadows, silhouettes, fog, and the
occasional strobe flash. A place where EBM meets Chicago acid,
industrial tension slides into punk-edged electro, and cold
synthwave melts into hypnotic techno. Expect modernized-retro
pressure, silky blends, dub echoes, genre left-turns, haunting
atmospheres and slithery, hypnotic grooves with a few well-placed
bangers. Dark, seductive, timeless - a mix for dancers who like the
corners of the club as much as the center. Step inside Red Eye’s
sideroom This is where the future...lies. (RIP Douglas
