#108: Power and Love

Power without love is reckless and abusiveand love without power is
sentimental and mimic. We can sort of embrace the mystery there and
they're not knowing actually what we're seeing this made experience
of life is the right one because too often. Because too often
people who would see a more loving world tend towards Spiritual
bypassing and latch on to convenient ideas about how oneness or
love or just expressing love and it's going to make things better
and it's quite clearly not enough to do that. People see that kind
of talk and consider a reason to dismiss all discussion of love or
any you know encouragement to be more loving and what they do. You
know, speaking from Deep love, but also a deep understanding of
suffering, too. Attention, empathy, compassion, love we can’t
really only talk them into being there are practices that we can do
you know there are daily forms of connection. Jamie asks himself,
what lies between power and love? For him, it’s not about assigning
oneself to a pool of power or love. It´s about a kind of
superposition, like in quantum physics; we are both simultaneously
and neither at all. We explore how love can be taken seriously
without discrediting itself and what role power plays in this; we
talk about game denial, game acceptance and game change. As well as
about idiot compassion, the practice of creating circles of
suffering and harm. Ultimately, it’s all about loving power and
