For years, a devastating conflict has been raging in Sudan,
claiming many lives and causing some of the worst atrocities. With
the situation in Gaza, Sudan has increasingly fallen out of the
spotlight. However, with the recent capture of the city of
El-Fasher, Sudan is once again attracting attention. In this
episode, I invite Dr. Andreas Krieg, a lecturer at the School of
Security Studies at King’s College London, at the Royal College of
Defence Studies, and a fellow at the Institute of Middle Eastern
Studies. With over ten years of experience and expertise in the
MENA region, he provides an overview of the situation in Sudan,
