sector. In light of the increasing number of AI-driven attacks on
insurance companies, Dr. Bakker explains how to address these
developments effectively. “Criminal organizations are getting
better, but we are improving as well. The key is always to stay
one step ahead,” she emphasizes. Dr. Bakker also reflects on the
challenges of driving transformation within a traditional
industry. She points out that true cultural change is not
triggered by systems alone but by courage and authenticity: “You
have to make people dare—and celebrate them for daring, even when
they make mistakes.”
