The economy is broken, leading towards climate breakdown,
oligarchic power and fascism. It's high time to deepen our
understanding of how we can overcome capitalism and move towards a
more egalitarian and sustainable society. In his research project
"Beyond Capitalism" historian and economic theorist Aaron Benanav
proposes a framework for constructing such a post-capitalist social
order. Aaron joins Dissens to talk about the state of late stage
capitalism, the vision of a democratized economy and what it takes
for the left to win back the future.
