#154 Short Episode: WMTRC Canfranc 2025 – Gold Medalist Frédéric Tranchand

Hey everyone! Welcome to a short episode right after the Trail
Running World Championships in Canfranc in the Pyrenees. What an
amazing and unforgettable experience! I spent four days there
with a friend – cheering, taking photos, filming, and catching up
with a few athletes for short interviews. The trails, the
scenery, and the performances were just incredible. I came back
home feeling truly enriched and grateful for the whole
experience.


In this episode, I chat with Frédéric Tranchand,
recorded the day after his fantastic victory in the Short Trail
race (44.5 km / 3,557 m elevation gain/loss). He shares his
strategy, the mix of orienteering and sky running, and how he
took the lead at the first aid station.
