Was ist bedürfnisorientiertes Hundetraining?

Bedürfnisorientiertes Hundetraining, positives Training,
R+-Training oder gar "reward based training", also
belohnungsbasiertes Training.


Gewaltfreies Hundetraining hat viele Namen. Und es gibt viele
Mythen und Aussagen, wie denn nun dieses Training funktioniert.
Einige sagen, das sei nur Leckerli werfen, und gerade bei Themen
wie Aggression oder übermässiges Jagdverhalten funktioniere
bedürfnisorientiertes Training nicht. Dabei wird oft der
Fehlschluss gezogen, dass die Abwesenheit von Strafe
Verhaltenstherapie verunmögliche.


Was aber ist genau der Unterschied? Und wieso setzen sich viele
Trainer:innen so leidenschaftlich für bedürfnisorientiertes
Hundetraining ein? Was sind hier die Hintergründe? Diese Fragen
