Curation: platforming voices, developing collaborations, building communities

On this episode, I’m talking to Elisa Erkelenz, curator,
dramaturg and author with a focus on trans traditional
contemporary music. We’re talking about curation through the lens
of one of her projects, Outernational, the roles jazz and
improvising musicians play in contemporary classical music
settings, the importance of developing partnerships, the value of
collaboration and community, how music can become political, and
giving a platform for diverse lived experiences through music.
