  4. BAFTA Winner Mia McKenna-Bruce: From Working in a Call Centre to Achieving your Dreams
At just 8 years old, Mia McKenna-Bruce embarked on a career that
would take over two decades of relentless effort, resilience, and
heart. Despite early successes, she faced the harsh realities of
the entertainment industry. Rejection after rejection and the
crushing weight of burnout. At one point, she walked away from it
all, trading auditions for a headset at a call centre in
Australia.

But Mia’s acting journey didn’t end there.

Determined to reclaim her dream, she made a triumphant return to
acting, pouring everything into her craft. Now, in 2024, she
stands as the BAFTA Award Winner for Best Actress, a testament to
her talent and perseverance. With highly anticipated projects
alongside some of the industry's top names, Mia’s career is
soaring to new heights.

In this episode of Thriving Minds, Mia shares with Alberto the
raw, unfiltered truth behind her journey. From childhood stardom
to the brink of giving up, and ultimately, to becoming one of the
most celebrated actors of her generation. Her story is an
inspiring blueprint for anyone who’s ever faced rejection,
doubted their path, or dreamed of a second chance.

Podcast-Folgen verschwinden.
