In this episode, lawyer and politicial scientist Mariana Assis,
sociologist Nayla Vacarezza and Public Health scholar and
sociologist Sara Larrea talk about self-managed abortion, the
practice of obtaining abortion medications independently and
using them to manage the abortion process without clinical
supervision. The importance of activists, of self-ownership of
women's own bodies and the different standards in different
countries are discussed, among other questions and areas.

All three belong to a research group that worked at ZiF under the
title "Translocal Networks for Feminist Self-Managed Abortion in
the Americas and Europe: Transforming Law, Health and Culture
