# 85 - SPECIAL EPISODE: Comparison of abortion law in Norway and Germany

Together with my Norwegian friends Helene and Brage we talked
about the abortion law in our home countries, what differences
and similarities there are and how they can be explained based on
the legal culture. What started as a project in our class
"Comparing legal cultures in Europe" ended as a long and
interesting conversation, exclusively for our Podcast. We do not
only compare the history and development of the abortion law but
also see how it represents the legal culture of Norway and
Germany. Also, it was interesting to see how different systems
work within different societies and why the Norwegian law is so
much more progressive .
