The day Theo finally opened up and grieved.


“This…”  Theo chuckled and shook his head. “Did you know
that Theodore means ‘a  gift from gods’? Funny, really, that
my father would have named his  biggest failure and
disappointment that, but here I am. My - My mother  used to
tell me I was the best gift she’d ever received.” His voice
 broke and the corners of his eyes suddenly pricked with all
the tears  he’d never let himself shed. He blinked rapidly
and buried his face in  Harry’s unruly hair to steady his
shallow breaths, inhaling the lavender  scent of his
shampoo. “This means gift,” he whispered, “and sacrifice…”
