Welcome to Others & Me


In this first live episode of Others & Me, we have a
fascinating conversation with Sébastien Carré during the
whirlwind of Munich Jewellery Week! The artist, who is based in
Strasbourg, creates stunning and unique organic shapes using a
variety of textile techniques. He has also discovered exciting
ways to collaborate with other artists and, is about to launch a
brand new jewellery week in Cagnes-sur-Mer with Isabelle Busnel
and Juan Riusech.





Having been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, Sébastien needed to
find a way to work from anywhere, not just his workbench. He drew
inspiration from his grandmother and mother, who had experience
with embroidery and crochet, and began incorporating their
techniques into his own work!
