Preparation of Polyfunctional Arylmagnesium, or Arylzinc Reagents Bearing a Triazene Moiety and Their Applications in Organic Synthesis

We have prepared a number of polyfunctional arylmagnesium or
arylzinc reagents bearing a triazene moiety. According to some of
the methodologies, we applied them in the new synthesis of
functionalized carbazoles, functionalized terphenyls, and natural
products such as ellipticine, and 9-methoxyellipticine.
