Having demands about climate action is important. Marcel
Roth Head of R&D is touring this demand into action
for decades. All of that within an industry that is dominated by
the demand for system performance not mainly sustainability since
it is crucial to ensure the safety of our everyday life.

Chemists are able to do fantastic things with water-based or
sustainable or materials BUT often it comes with huge sacrifices
of performance.

To break that problem we need to enter the world of complex
systems.

Marcel emphasized that in the complex systems we are operating
in, collaboration gets not just more important but inevitable. I
believe that cooperation is the biggest leverage for every
challenge globally. That's why there needs to be more public
attention and involvement in worldwide collaborations that solve
meaningful problems.
