The Duty of Care

Dr Benita Mayhead has over 30 years’ experience in learning and
development, executive coaching, and senior HR roles. She
completed her Doctorate in Coaching and Mentoring at Oxford
Brookes University in 2022 where she conducted the first
empirical research study on duty of care in coaching. As one of
the founders of North-52 (www.north-52.com experts in executive
coaching, supervision and mentoring), she helps leaders navigate
complex challenges, enabling them to gain confidence, accelerate
impact, and enhance cohesion amongst teams. Benita is also a
qualified coach supervisor, published author, academic journal
peer reviewer, presenter at research conferences, and a
non-executive advisory board member.
