...with Allison Zuckerman

In this episode of WAS MIT KUNST, Johann König talks to the
Brooklyn based and working artist Allison Zuckerman. Allison takes
us on an exciting journey through her exhuberant images. In the
Podcast Johann and Allison discuss the technique of her paintings,
wherein she skillfully blends print and painting elements. The
content of her paintings draws equally from the annals of art
history and the imagery of net culture, with a special focus on the
representation of women by male authors. In a short amount of time,
Allison has already established herself as a leading voice in
contemporary painting. In her upcoming exhibition OPEN CASTING,
which opens on the 09th of June at König Galerie, Berlin, Allison
will showcase eight paintings and four sculptural works.
