Imperial Irish Coffee Chocolate Milk Oatmeal Oyster Stout
Stout is a very old style of beer. It's been around since 1700's at least. The style has always been loved but it's not always been popular. The running joke is "want a knife and fork to go with your beer" is unfounded. Stout, while thick and creamy, is often lighter, smoother and more flavorful then some icky American lagers. There are many different recipes for Stout including: Irish, Imperial, Milk, Oatmeal, Chocolate, Coffee and Oyster. Some consider the Porter style to be a Stout as well as the Stout style grew out of Porter beer. Today most breweries consider the styles to be distinct.
