New Mixtape incoming! We are very excited to have one of the label’s favorite artist as our next guest for the SPANDAU20 mixtape series: VIL aka Nuno Costa, is a Portuguese electronic music artist who embarked on his musical journey in 2008. Initially focused on genres like dubstep, drum 'n' bass, and UK garage, he formed a local crew and promoter called "Warface." In 2013, Nuno Costa launched his new project, VIL, which shifted his focus to techno, electro, breaks, and house music. VIL's refined taste and skill in building sets have earned him opportunities to perform at some of Portugals best clubs and various festivals.️‍ In 2018, he collaborated with Portuguese artists Temudo and Menosdois to form the collective Hayes, which is known for infusing hip hop influences into their vocal work. Presently, VIL is experimenting with groovy tribal techno sounds and is actively creating and releasing music. Many of his tracks have already become favorites among the set lists of SPANDAU20’s artists. So if you’re looking for a gem, you’ll probably find one in this delicious mix.

Up next for our mixtape series is the highly appreciated @whoisstranger a.k.a. Tafkamp, a talented producer and DJ hailing from the dutch underground music scene. Featuring an eclectic mix of rhythms, Stranger's mixtape is a sonic journey that takes listeners on a captivating ride through the world of electronic music. Get ready for the latest addition to our mixtape series: @nastyavogan. Hailing from Odesa, Ukraine , currently living in Berlin, Nastya approaches high-intensity dance music tracks as found objects for engineering odd and varied sonic adventures. ️ Her mixtape will take you on a deep journey and offers some perfect blends of gentle breakbeats, stompy, punchy, and drilling rhythms, combined with modern vocal samples, warm keys & synths, atmospheric pads and soundscapes in between. As a Tumblr-era urban dweller, Nastya constructs hybrid dj-set/live performances utilizing loops cut from YouTube videos, thus exploring both the potential of four-deck mixing and the sonic treasury that is the Internet for a keen ear like hers. But Nastya's talents span across various creative and cultural activities. She produces and composes music, performs live solo and collaborates with other artists. She has performed at CTM festival, Berghain, and Mariana Berezovskaya's project "Letters to Kyiv". Additionally, she has a quarterly residence on EOS radio and a residence at Kyiv's fine ∄. She also co-runs the electronic music school Module.Exchange, where she shares her knowledge and experiences with others. Enough words, let the music speak!

We are incredibly happy to welcome @dar_key to our mixtape series! Born in the Ukraine and currently based in Germany, Daria is one of the most promising artists out there and we couldn’t be happier to have her join our little series Her eclectic and unique style of djing has enabled her to play countless gigs all around the world within the last couple of years and this mixtape only underlines her enourmous talent, should there ever have been any doubts about it!

We're happy to welcome @gian_lack to our mixtape series After making his way in the Berlin club scene over the last ten years, playing noumerous gigs, continuously improving his dj-skills, Gian had his first solo-release on @lackrec in 2016 Since then he has been playing regularily on a international basis, taking his mesmerizing sound out into the world For our mixtape series he has crafted a mixture of true oldschool techno & breakbeats - garnished with some extra gems, guaranteed to make you move!

Up next for our mixtape series: @christophfaust1 Growing up in Berlin Christoph discovered his love for music as a teenager very early on and it didn't take him long until he started his first music project Now - a few aliases, releases & labels later - Christoph Faust brings his vision to the dancefloor connecting deep & groovy rhythms combined with a tribal soundscape that makes your body wanna dance ️

next up for our mixtape series we have @imogensmusic The london based artist is hard to put into a box if it comes to the sound she is playing, however this might be one of her biggest strengths !! Her multi-faceted dj-sets and productions made it possible for her to play all around the world in the last 5 years In 2019 she joined the legendary Fabric Club in London as a resident dj For our mixtape series she has compiled a slapping hour full of breakbeats, industrial techno, electro while also managing to sneak in one of our all-time classics!

up next for our mixtape series: welcome @aquarian! The Canadian born and Berlin-based artist has been on our radar since his debut in 2012 and has been providing us with killer edits for our dj-sets ever since. 
Most recently, he released a two part EP series called “Mutations I & II” on @dkmntl Records fusing techno, drum and bass, electro and hardcore into a potent formula. His high energy and eclectic mixing style has found its way into Berghain, De School, Tresor, and will be able to catch at Dekmantel Festival this summer
