Erk FM: Australia 510 – Scudley Flashback
18.12.2014
2 Stunden 14 Minuten
Welcome to Erk FM: Australia episode 510. On this episode, Erk combines what were formerly 3 separate Erk FM episodes. The episode opens with Peter Renzullo from Scudley Records, based in Perth. His aim has been and continues to be to promote live & original music in Perth. Like many other musicians and promoters in Perth, Peter has found that distance can be an issue for bands from eastern Australia to travel to Perth so to counter that, the local music scene must be strong.   After the interview, Erk features local Perth artists that Scudley Records were working with at the time of the interview in early 2010. The Scudley Records produced album that features was called Folklore.  Related posts: Erk FM 63 – Folklore (part 1) Erk FM 64 – Folklore (Part 2) Erk FM 58 – Peter Renzullo (Scudley Records) interview

Erk FM: Australia 506 – Musical Ladies of Sydney (Flashback)
04.12.2014
2 Stunden 49 Minuten
Welcome to Erk FM: Australia episode 506. Now that Rocktober & Norockvember are completed, Erk is looking back over the last 6 years as Erk FM: Australia's last episode will be on Friday 2 January 2015. On this episode, Erk features 3 of his favourite interviews, all recorded on location in various parts of Sydney.   The episode opens with Erk's interview with Alison Avron who is a singer/songwriter, singing coach & a venue owner in Sydney. The second interview is with Helen Perris who is a singer/songwriter, a music coach and also a mother - the latter becomes plainly obvious during the interview but was entertaining nonetheless. As becomes clear in both interviews, Alison & Helen work well together and enjoy each other's company on & off stage. Finally, Erk features Lee Safar who apart from being a musician is also an entrepreneur. Most notably, Lee has just launched her new clothing line along with other merchandise & accessories. Related posts: Erk FM: International 507 – Shhh, Erk! Ladies Talking!
