MTV Networks has partnered with Auditude to embed ads into
videos illegally uploaded by MySpace users. The program seems like
a good idea, but not everyone is convinced.
If you're a Netflix subscriber but you don't own an Xbox 360, a
PC or a Mac, but you do own a TiVo, congratulations. You'll soon
be able to stream movies and TV shows too.
Panasonic may or may not be planning to buy Sanyo sometime soon.
It's been rumored for a while, but since neither side is offering
many details, we'll just have to wait this one out.
Ever wished your appliances could just think for themselves and
in the process lower your electric bills and save the
environment? Well, General Electric has you covered.
Could the U.S. military be working on an unstoppable,
memory-zapping super beam? Probably not, but they are very
interested in the technology. (With a name like amnesia ray, who
wouldn't be interested?)
Circuit City has announced that it will close 155 stores, cut 17
percent of its workforce, and they could even be kicked
off the New York Stock Exchange. I guess the silver lining
would be that there were 155 stores to close.
For two weeks, two robots were locked in a room and made sweet,
sweet music together...No really. That's exactly what they did.
And the result is absolutely terrifying.
