Google has released an iPhone and iPod Touch version of its
Google Earth application. Travel around the world, see the sights
and make international dinner reservations all from the palm of
your hand. Sweet deal.
If you're a Mac user and a Netflix subscriber, chances are you
know that you aren't able to watch streaming video from the
rental service's site. Looks like that's about to change thanks
to Microsoft.
Are you tired of having to sit through an entire YouTube video
just to get to the good parts? Well, thanks to a new feature, you
can now save everyone precious time and direct them to specific
parts of videos.
For the first time, Microsoft has given a select group of
developers access to the SDK for its multi-touch, multi-user
display technology Surface. Hopefully, one of them uses it to
built that interactive display from Minority Report. That would
be sweet.
Engineers from Toyota and the University of Tokyo have developed
a robot maid. I don't have anything else to say about it other
than it's about time.
Undeterred by or unaware of the world's economic collapse,
Motorola reveals its new $2,000 Aura cell phone.
