This week on Sidelines & Sacrifices, Craig and Kelly sit down
with one of New Zealand's most accomplished sporting figures, Rob
Waddell. Joining us via Zencastr from his home in the Waikato while
Craig and Kelly were in the studio in Palmerston North, Rob shares
his story from Olympic Gold in rowing to competing at the highest
levels of international sport. Our conversation goes beyond the
medals and results into his journey, the people who shaped him,
life after elite competition, His company Waddell and his work
creating opportunities for the next generation through the
Clubhouse Foundation. It's a story about sport, leadership,
opportunity, and giving back, and another reminder that every game
has a scoreboard, but every sport has a story. A radio show/podcast
produced by Manawatū People's Radio with the support of New Zealand
on Air.
