today.

Artificial intelligence remains at the centre of corporate
competition. Google is taking a more direct approach to Nvidia by
making its own AI chips available to outside customers. Anthropic
is already emerging as a major buyer. At the same time, competition
is developing in Europe. Berlin-based Deepslate is working on AI
models capable of generating voices in real time, entering a market
currently associated with companies such as OpenAI and
ElevenLabs.

AI is also moving beyond individual applications. New agents from
Meta and OpenAI illustrate a broader shift towards digital
assistants that can remain available around the clock and build a
deeper understanding of their users. For businesses, this could
mark another step from using individual AI tools towards
integrating autonomous assistants into everyday workflows.

Semiconductors remain another strategic growth market. Infineon has
selected Thailand for an investment as Asian countries intensify
their efforts to attract chip manufacturing. The decision
underlines how semiconductor production is becoming increasingly
geographically diversified.

Europe’s aerospace sector is also thinking bigger. Isar Aerospace
is planning additional factories, launch facilities and eventually
a heavy-lift rocket. The ambitions highlight the growing commercial
importance of independent European access to space.

Financial markets, meanwhile, are dealing with rising bond yields.
US government bonds have experienced a particularly difficult
quarter, while higher borrowing costs are also putting pressure on
France. For companies and governments alike, more expensive
financing is becoming an increasingly important economic
factor.

And finally, traditional finance continues to move closer to the
crypto economy. Bitcoin products that were once primarily
associated with fintech companies are increasingly being offered by
established banks. It is another indication that digital assets are
moving further into mainstream financial services.
