-An SPLC scandal gives Rob enough material for an entire comedy
set as he discusses federal charges against a former Southern
Poverty Law Center CFO, allegations involving payments to
informants, and the bizarre personal details surrounding the case.
-Mary Walter joins Rob for a conversation that somehow travels
from Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman and Gen-X childhoods to a
contentious surrogacy case, abortion, New Jersey’s surprisingly
lofty livability ranking, Jersey diners, Wyoming winters, the
possible resurrection of MySpace and Rob’s first pilgrimage to
Buc-ee’s -Dearborn becomes the final battleground of the
hour as Rob reacts to the police chief urging residents to
stay home ahead of a planned anti-Islam protest at a city council
meeting, arguing that residents have every right to demonstrate
peacefully—and closing the hour with considerably more fireworks
than MySpace ever generated. Today’s podcast is sponsored by :
