In this week's investigation Hot On The Case goes back to a
college party in 1996, when Kristin Smart went missing. What
began as a night out near the Cal Poly campus turned into one of
the most haunting disappearances in true crime history, as
suspicion followed fellow student Paul Flores for decades. More
than 25 years later, Flores was finally arrested and convicted as
investigators uncovered years of disturbing and suspicious
behavior surrounding his family. As Kristin's family continues
their relentless fight for justice, new developments in the case
may finally lead to bringing her home.
