  4. Eloise Worledge: The 8-Year-Old Girl Who Vanished From Her Bed 50 Years Ago
It's the waiting for answers that tires her the most. A loving
aunt to a little girl stolen from her bed in the deep of night.
Margaret Thomas was 29 years old when her first-born niece was
abducted. The little girl's name is Eloise Anne Worledge. She was
only eight years old. It's been 50 years since that day and
Margaret is now a woman in her twilight years. Despite the
passage of time and the impact of age, her determination to find
her niece's final resting place - and her killer - has not waned.
Today, Margaret talks about her little niece and the impact of
the not knowing. This episode discusses violence and murder and
is not safe for children.

This is Eloise's story.

This season of She Matters is supported by
Verve Super, committed to women’s financial
security and standing against violence in all its forms. She
Matters is also proudly supported by Your One and Only

Women in Australia retire with 23% less super
than men — a real super gender gap. Our financial lives can be
complex, and many of us don’t know who to turn to for support in
a system not built with us in mind. That’s why
Verve created a community for women, men and
non-binary people who believe in closing the super gap.
