"bare for en sikkerheds skyld". I denne uge kigger Sophie Birch
på, hvordan vi gik fra at behandle mangel til at optimere kroppe,
der egentlig ikke fejler noget – og om al den kosttilskud
overhovedet virker.

Det eneste, der anbefales bredt i Danmark – D-vitamin i
vinterhalvåret (5-10 mikrogram, okt-april) … og hvorfor der så
sælges piller med 70
Kan man få for meget? – ja! De fedtopløselige vitaminer (A,
D, E, K) lagres, og mineraler kan konkurrere med hinanden – mere
er ikke automatisk bedre
Når vi leder det forkerte sted – magnesium, når det måske var
søvn; en multivitamin, når det måske var kosten – og hvorfor en
blodprøve slår en hjemmetest
Pointen er ikke at smide alle dine vitaminpiller ud. Kosttilskud
kan være helt nødvendige – for dem, der har brug for dem. Men de
store gevinster ligger stadig de samme kedelige steder: kost,
motion, søvn og relationer. Måske handler sund fornuft ikke om at
tage flest mulige vitaminer, men om at vide, hvornår de giver
mening – og hvornår de ikke gør.
