  4. What I’d Beg Every Person in Their 20s to Know About Social Media
For my 100th episode I think it's time that I share the ultimate
detox message for our generation.

Although it might be painful to admit… maybe our parents were
right? Maybe it is our phones. Specifically, social media.

If you’ve been listening for a while, you know my complicated
relationship with social media. I’ve always felt like a bit of a
hypocrite: promoting the podcast and making a living as a social
media manager on the very apps that drains me. While there are
amazing creators out there, these apps were ultimately built
using psychological manipulation. They are no longer just tools
for connection; they are engines built to influence and sell to
us.

In this episode I share my honest thoughts about social media,
the psychology of how it’s perpetuating common pain points of
feeling “lost” or “behind” in our twenties. I also share some
strategies to find a balance with this app (if you’re not
convinced to write it off, lol)

Lastly, I encourage you to lean into what your gut is telling you
while listening to this video. Only *you* will know what your
form of balance is.

Okay, let's get into it.
