Britain and France that could zoom at twice the speed of any
other passenger plane! Imagine flying all the way from London to
New York in just 3 hours instead of 8! It flew so fast and so
high that it cruised at 60,000 feet. Up there, the sky turns dark
blue and you can actually see the curve of the Earth! One of its
coolest tricks? The airplane's pointy nose actually drooped down
when it was time to land so the pilots could see the runway! For
27 amazing years, this super-jet carried movie stars, royalty,
and thrilled passengers across the ocean. Even though it retired
