On May 4th, 2007, Patricia Tice opened her door to find two sheriff
deputies standing on her front porch. They told her that her
19-year-old daughter, Brittany McGlone was deceased. They wouldn't
elaborate, just telling her that her body was en route to a funeral
home. Patricia soon found out that not only was her daughter dead,
she had been brutally murdered. Brittany had suffered a vicious
attack while sleeping and died from blunt force trauma to the head.
She was sleeping in her boyfriend's bed after a long night shift at
work. Her boyfriend and his family were out of the house during the
day and Brittany's boyfriend returned home to find her dead in his
bed, covered in blood. One of the first things that crossed
Patricia's mind when she found out her daughter was dead? "That son
of a bitch killed her." Patricia and the rest of her family believe
that Brittany's boyfriend was involved in her murder, along with a
family friend with a history of violent crimes.
