very popular Kirtan at Yoga Vidya. It specifically refers to joy
because Nanda means joy and happiness. Nandana means \"pleasing\".
Gopala means \"the good shepherd\" or \"the one who protects all
beings.\" Ananda - \"it leads toward the pleasure\". Nanda - \"he
is full of joy\". \"He Nandananda Anandananda Yadu Nandananda
Gopal.\" So Krishna is joy. Therefore, when you sing this mantra,
