70. The Rise and Fall of the East India Company

For a historical example of just how incredibly devious, vile and
downright evil a corporation can be, look no further than the
East India Company's undisputed reign of terror. You may
recognise these foes as the non-magical, mercantile, malevolent
force two of the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels and
unsurprisingly they are so much worse than is portrayed in a
Disney movie (or two.) So get ready for some capital colonialism
and listen to the tale of the EIC.

of. On November 20th 1970, worlds collided with rigging
accusations, bombs, thinly-veiled racism and the second wave of
feminism, all topped off with a sparkly tiara.
