crime is nothing new, and this one really was the talk of the
Stuart court. This 17th Century crime has everything, political
scheming, a royal connection, a marriage scandal, jilted lovers
and a poisoned tart. With a cast of characters including the
King’s favourite, Robert Dudley’s stepson and the granddaughter
of the last man to be executed by King Henry VIII.
