On 26 August 1978, Geeta Chopra and Sanjay Chopra left home to
participate in All India Radio's Yuv Vani programme. They never
made it to the studio. What followed was a horrifying chain of
events that shook Delhi, sparked nationwide outrage, triggered
protests across India, and eventually became one of the most
important criminal cases in Indian history.
