Prime Video's Raakh is inspired by the shocking Geeta
Chopra and Sanjay Chopra case, one of India's most infamous true
crime cases. In this video, we uncover the real story
behind Raakh, the kidnapping and murder of Geeta Chopra and
Sanjay Chopra, and how the crimes of Ranga and Billa changed
India's legal history forever.

On 26 August 1978, Geeta Chopra and Sanjay Chopra left home to
participate in All India Radio's Yuv Vani programme. They never
made it to the studio. What followed was a horrifying chain of
events that shook Delhi, sparked nationwide outrage, triggered
protests across India, and eventually became one of the most
important criminal cases in Indian history.
