Sonam Wangchuk has launched an indefinite hunger strike over the
NEET 2026 paper leak, demanding accountability
for the National Testing Agency (NTA), exam reforms, and justice
for millions of students. Joined by Abhijeet Dipke and the
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) at Jantar
Mantar, Wangchuk's "Six Weeks or Death" protest has
become one of India's biggest education movements of 2026. This
documentary explores the NEET 2026 controversy,
the reported paper leak, student suicides, the CJP movement, and
why Sonam Wangchuk says he is willing to risk his life.
In this Hindi true crime documentary, we break down the complete
timeline of the Sonam Wangchuk hunger strike,
the NEET UG 2026 paper leak, the role of the
National Testing Agency (NTA), the demands for
Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's
resignation, the Delhi High Court
proceedings, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)
protest, and the larger debate surrounding India's
examination system.
The story begins with Sonam Wangchuk—the engineer, educator, and
Ramon Magsaysay Award recipient who transformed education in
Ladakh through SECMOL, Operation New
Hope, and the Ice Stupa innovation.
Widely known as one of the inspirations behind Phunsukh
Wangdu from 3 Idiots, Wangchuk has spent decades working
on education reform before joining the nationwide protest over
NEET 2026.
