In this episode of empowering tomorrow, Franz Zöchbauer, Managing
Director of VERBUND X, talks with Matei Stratan, CEO of Ogre AI,
about the growing importance of forecasting in an increasingly
decentralized and decarbonized energy system. They discuss how
AI-powered forecasting helps utilities manage renewable energy, EV
charging, prosumers, and complex demand patterns. Matei shares the
founding story of Ogre AI, key lessons from scaling an energy
