What if the spiritual search does not lead to truth but is
exactly what keeps it hidden?
In this episode of Körper, Geld und Seele,
Jan Knuth speaks with Alexis about
non-duality, Advaita, and the radical recognition that there is
no separate self that needs to awaken.
Alexis shares his own journey through substances, clubs, video
games, Buddhism, yoga, meditation, breathwork, and Qigong — until
the search itself began to fall apart. What remained was the
recognition that what was being searched for had never been
absent.
This conversation explores some of the biggest questions in
spirituality:
Is there really a path to awakening?
Is God something separate from life?
Can the sense of “me” disappear?
And what happens when the need to become someone finally relaxes?
Alexis speaks about Tony Parsons, the end of spiritual identity,
everyday life without a strong sense of self, fear,
relationships, meditation, and the beautiful metaphor of the
child searching for its mother — without realizing the mother is
already everything.
A deep, poetic, and sometimes challenging conversation for anyone
interested in non-duality, awakening, consciousness,
spirituality, God, identity, and the possibility that life is not
a classroom — but a playground.
If this episode resonates with you, share it with someone who is
searching — or with someone who may have searched enough.
