Parthian Empire.


Founded by Arsaces I, the Parthians rose from a small nomadic
tribe to control vast lands across Persia and the vital trade
routes of the Silk Road.


Their warriors became legendary for a devastating tactic known as
the Parthian Shot—a maneuver so effective that it helped destroy
a Roman army led by Marcus Licinius Crassus at the Battle of
Carrhae.


For nearly three centuries, this empire stood as Rome’s greatest
rival in the east.
